China First Highway Engineering Co.Ltd (CFHEC) was established in April 1963. CFHEC now affiliates to China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) and locates its headquarters in Beijing.  The business now operates in 15 African countries, and five Asian countries.  One of their key projects in Cameroun is a highways construction project building a road connecting Cameroun’s two main cities, Yaounde and Douala.  There are likely to be other projects in Cameroun and in other African countries that will require a mix of professional skills including in claims management.  

They require an individual to work with the CFHEC team in Cameroun and then possibly in other geographies to ensure their engagement with regard to claims management with their clients which are usually State Governments is done professionally, and in the commercial interests of CFHEC.  You will be a qualified civil engineer with experience of claims and contract management.  You will have experience of working internationally ideally including in Africa, and be familiar with French specifications for highways work.  With fluency in French and English, you will be professionally confident to be able to engage effectively with clients on potentially contentious matters.  

You can be based at your home location, and should be prepared to travel to Cameroun or other countries as required typically for 1-2 months on each visit.  You will be engaged on a contract basis.
