Organisation: Radioactive Waste Management Limited
Creating a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment.
Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) is the Government-owned company established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. The GDF represents a major multi-billion pound national infrastructure programme. RWM, as the developer, will work in partnership with communities that are willing to participate in the siting process.
As Head of Engineering Design Management you will plan, procure and manage the engineering design process for the GDF and associated waste transport systems, whilst safeguarding operational safety and environmental standards. Developing a high performing team, you will act as the intelligent client to effectively manage mutually dependent parties.
With an outstanding track record of leading and managing the engineering design process of a major engineering/design programme/project, you will oversee the quality of the engineering design, scoping work, budgets and schedules to ensure these are delivered to high specifications, within agreed time-lines and cost.
