 Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste.  This represents a major multi-million pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s publicly owned civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.   

As part of the transition into delivering on RWM’s programme of activities, we are now searching for a Lead Procurement Manager who will lead a small team of professionals with specific responsibilities for providing authoritative advice to the RWM Board and Executive on strategic and operational commercial matters in support of the implementation of the GDF programme.

Directly reporting to the Head of Finance & Commercial, you will manage RWM’s procurement and contractual arrangements as a limited company and support the development of the supply chain, in compliance with public expenditure controls, ensuring that RWM has suitable tracking and intelligence systems in place to effectively manage its strategic suppliers.
