Head of Programme Management Office (PMO)

Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire.
Organisation: Radioactive Waste Management Limited
Reference: RWM030

Creating a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment.

Competitive Package

Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste.  This represents a major multi-billion pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s publicly owned civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.

As part of the transformation in developing a company-wide Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (P3M) capability that will provide the necessary programme assurance and review capability for RWMs activities, we now require someone to Head the establishment of a new Programme Management Office (PMO).

You will oversee the integrated baseline covering schedule, scope and requirements management and portfolio reporting. Furthermore, you will provide leadership in P3M capability and embed efficient programme management disciplines across all of RWM’s delivery areas, developing this newly established function that will ensure a Centre of Excellence for RWM.

Our most important asset is our people and we will provide a supportive and inclusive work environment in which they can realise their full potential.

Closing date for applications is Monday 23rd July 2018
