Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire.
Organisation: Radioactive Waste Management Limited
Creating a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment.
Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM) has been established to deliver a geological disposal facility (GDF) and provide solutions for the management of radioactive waste. This represents a major multi-billion pound national infrastructure programme. RWM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority which is responsible under the Energy Act 2004, for the clean-up of the UK’s publicly owned civil nuclear legacy sites including the management of radioactive waste.
As part of the transition into delivering on RWM’s programme of activities, we require a confident, enthusiastic and creative Strategic Communications Planning Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in developing our communications to support internal and external engagement. Supporting the activity developed by our “relationship managers” and leading on developing audience-focused, channel-agnostic communications and engagement plans, which build from the principles of our aspirations and strategies, you will ensure that there is effective integration to optimise the experience of internal and external audiences.
In a vitally important role, you will lead the development and delivery of stakeholder communications and engagement plans for RWM to generate positive awareness of the GDF siting process as well as its broader corporate expertise. As someone providing consistency around consulting communications and guidance, you will shape the engagement function at RWM and be the first “port of call” for questions from a variety of stakeholders.
Closing date for applications is: Wednesday 25th July 2018
