Firstworld Ventures provides training services to enhance human potential.  They provide life skills, and techniques to unleash and aid human potential development, and their training services focus on areas such as mindfulness, social & emotional intelligence, leadership, and communication.  These service offerings are made available to corporate organisations, learning institutions and individuals to enhance their productivity, and Firstworld Ventures partners with leading companies in these fields which are largely based in the UK and the USA to enable the provision of these training services to organisations in the UK, in other developed markets, in Nigeria and in the wider West Africa region.  The company also offers ancillary service offerings which include human potential development seminars and workshops targeted at the public; and summer holiday camps.

Following a decision to drive the growth of Firstworld Ventures, there is a need for a Sales & Marketing Officer to support the business with regard to their engagement with partner organisations and acquisition of customers, and to ensure the fulfilment of its business plan.  You will develop a marketing strategy with a strong focus on digital marketing and support the work of the team in Nigeria and West Africa in following up on sales leads.  You will proactively and creatively use social media and other digital channels to develop a pipeline of leads, and to generate brand awareness of Firstworld Ventures and Firstworld Communities, their sister business in Nigeria.

You will have sound experience of business to business marketing from a strategic, tactical and campaigns perspective including extensive experience of using digital channels and will be up to speed on developments in social media as a means of communicating the company’s brand, service offering, capabilities and events.  With an ability to work independently and in an early stage business environment, you will also be comfortable working across cultures ideally with some familiarity with working in / engaging with developing as well as developed countries.

The position is full-time and you can be based at your home or at an office base in Pinner, North London.
